Convenience Centers

Polk County operates six staffed convenience centers for use by county residents to dispose of household waste.  Commercial waste or waste generated by commercial operations is prohibited. All centers have recycling bins for cardboard, aluminum, and paper.

The following items are not accepted at any convenience center and must be taken to the Grady Road Landfill:
