Burn Ban: 03/22/2025

Due to the expected low humidity and high winds across the county today, a countywide burn ban has been issued by the Fire Chiefs or Polk County, Cedartown, and Rockmart. This ban is in effect for Saturday March 22, 2025. No outdoor burning regardless of size of fire is permitted. This does not include cooking fire in grills. Violators will face fines for ordinance violations due to illegal burning.
