E-911 Communications Center
Polk County E-911 operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The center consists of 12 hour shifts that operate 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.  Fully staffed, the E911 Center consists of a Shift Supervisor, 3 Communication Officers, E-911 Director and Assistant Director.  The E911 Division handles communications for all law enforcement agencies within the county, city and county fire departments, and emergency medical services.  They are:

  •    Cedartown Police Department
  •    Cedartown Fire Department
  •    Rockmart Police Department
  •    Rockmart Fire Department
  •    Polk County Sheriff's Office
  •    Polk County Police Department
  •    Polk County Fire Department
  •    Advent Health Emergency Medical Services

 

The Center also handles a variety of miscellaneous calls, including: Forestry, EMA, Animal Control, and more.

Every effort is made by the Polk County E911 Center to prevent harm and loss of life, protection and or loss of property and assist any citizen in their time of crisis.
