FIREWORK SAFETY
Throughout the world fireworks are used to celebrate and mark special occasions. The only true safe way to view fireworks is at a event put on by professionals. It is necessary to know that fireworks are not safe in the hands of consumers. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in 2021 there were nine deaths and around 11,500 injuries as a result of fireworks.

As of July 1, 2015, all consumer fireworks are legal in Georgia. Consumer fireworks are defined as any small fireworks device designed primarily to produce visible or audible effects by combustion as approved by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.
