Absentee Mail Ballot Applications:
December 31st, 2024 - March 7th, 2025

You may request an Absentee Mail Ballot for the March 18th Special Election through March 7th, 2025. For more information, please contact the Polk County Board of Elections Office.

Equipment Testing & Early Voting

Equipment Testing:

Equipment testing will be conducted from February 10th to February 21st from 9AM-5PM at the Polk County Board of Elections Office. The Elections Office is located at 144 West Ave Cedartown, GA 30125.

Early Voting

Early Voting will begin February 24th and go until March 14th. Voting will be held from 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday with two Saturday's held as follows:

- March 1st, Cedartown and Rockmart Locations, 9am-5pm
- March 8th, Cedartown Location Only, 9am-5pm

March 18th General Election Polling Locations

Special Election Day: March 18th, 2024

Election day for the March Special Election will be held on March 18th, 2025. Voting will take place at all Polk County Polling Locations from 7AM – 7PM.

Join us in ensuring a fair and efficient election process by becoming a poll worker. Your participation is vital to the democratic process, and Election Day Poll Workers are the most important part of any Election Day! They ensure your voting experience is an excellent one by helping run all Election Day operations at their assigned location and delivering Election Results to the office on Election Night.

  • Rules and Responsibilities

    To serve as a poll worker, you must be a U.S. Citizen, Polk County resident, 16 years of age or older, and willing to work any assigned Polling Location. Additionally, you must not hold a public office position or be a direct relative of a candidate. All poll workers will be responsible for completing a mandatory training prior to Election Day. Candidate Qualifying and Filing
