Polk County operates six staffed convenience centers for use by county residents to dispose of household waste.  Commercial waste or waste generated by commercial operations is prohibited.  All centers are open during the following hours:

Monday-Saturday: 7AM-6PM   

Sunday: 1PM-5PM

All centers have recycling bins for cardboard, aluminum, and paper.
